Message from the Owner: Students come to this school for many different reasons. Some want to learn one art that we teach and others want to learn everything that we teach. Some want to compete in tournaments, others want to learn techniques, and others just want to get in shape. Our school offers all of this to students, but it is also important to me that they develop better confidence and self-esteem that will be reflected in the rest of their lives as it has been in mine. It is also important that they learn self-defense techniques that will actually serve them well in real life if they need to use it. There are a lot of martial arts schools that teach in a way that the self-defense that students learn is not particularly effective in the real world. Mr. Marble holds the rank of 4th degree Black Belt in Shingitai Jujitsu. He is one of only about 12 people in the United States to hold this rank in Shingitai Jujitsu. He also holds the rank of 4th degree Black Belt in Judo as well as 3rd degree Black Belt in Gung Fu. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, a Masters of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Ed. Specialist degree in educational administration. He is a Doctoral candidate at UMKC expecting to complete this degree in December of 2008. In addition to his work in martial arts, he teaches Spanish at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and at St. James Elementary School.
